Process Overview
This is a case study of Bigwave Robotics (Marosol) deploying three guide robots at Haeundae Paik Hospital to automate patient navigation. Using the LG CLOi guide robots, the hospital automatically guided patients through their examinations. The three guide robots were interconnected using the SOLlink integrated robot control system. This enabled seamless guidance for patients moving between floors.
Warranty Period
- 1 Year
Performance Year
- 2024
Project Background and Objectives
- Robots don't board elevators; patients move between floors.
- Robots on each floor are interconnected through a highly integrated control system (relay function).
- This system accompanies and guides patients as they move between floors.
Components
| Robot | LG CLOi GuideBot |
|---|
Workflow
| STEP 1. | Coordinator calls robot integration with SOLlink |
|---|---|
| STEP 2. | Enter patient name, password (1234), and examination course selection |
| STEP 3. | Robot-assisted guidance begins on the first floor |
| STEP 4. | Only patients are moved to the second floor |
| STEP 5. | Enter the password to the robot waiting at the designated location on the 2nd floor |
| STEP 6. | 2nd floor inspection course guide |
| STEP 7. | Only patients are moved to the basement level |
| STEP 8. | Enter the password on the waiting robot at the designated location on the first basement floor |
| STEP 9. | Complete guidance is available at the Radiology Department on the first basement floor |

A medication delivery robot that rides an elevator and passes through automatic doors has appeared at Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital! 😎
Process Overview This is a case where Bigwave Robotics (Marosol) installed the second-generation LG CLOi double-door delivery robot at Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital for medication delivery. The second-generation LG CLOi double-door delivery robot was connected to SOLlink, which was used to build infrastructure such as elevators and automatic doors, so that medicine could be delivered from the pharmacy on the first floor to the nursing stations in each ward. Warranty Period 1 Year Performance Year 2024 Project Duration Infrastructure construction: 2 weeks Total project: 3 weeks Project Background and Objectives Replace workers in times of labor shortages. Reduce worker travel time and free up workers for other tasks. Maximize efficiency of repetitive tasks. Remote control and status monitoring using SOLlink.
Sign Spinning + DJ Performance Using Doosan Collaborative Robots
This robot is an entertainment robot featuring five collaborative robots performing DJing and sign spinning alongside humans to upbeat EDM music. By leveraging the human-robot collaboration capabilities of collaborative robots, this human-robot performance demonstrated the safety and performance of the robots. At the same time, it played a crucial role in attracting the attention of exhibition visitors, driving them into the booth, and encouraging them to attend follow-up programs.
